Maggie, El Paredon Guatemala

We really loved our mystery honeymoon trip. Guatemala was not a destination we thought of before. The country was beautiful and the people were super nice. We got the mixture of mountains/volcanoes and beach we requested. The transportation to/from the airport and our different destinations was seamless. We never had to bring out our reservation information to show our confirmation for any hotels. We loved the ATV tour around Antigua and the mangrove tour around El Paredon. We really liked that the mangrove tour worked with the local economy to grow and educate the area. We felt very comfortable and safe in all of the places we visited. Even with the Covid changes and restrictions, we were able to enjoy our time in Guatemala.

To anyone thinking of doing a mystery trip: Just do it. It takes all of the plaining pressure off of you and just lets you enjoy the destination and time away from real life. We can't wait to do another mystery trip.
